What to expect in 2026
A day of discovery

The Gardens

Each garden offers something quite unique whether it is ancient stone walls wrapped in roses, herbaceous borders in full summer bloom, stunning containers bursting with flowers or lovingly tended vegetable plots.

The day is designed so you can explore at your own pace, discover new areas of the village with beautiful private gardens and meet the people who bring these gardens to life.

Full details of all participating gardens this year will be included in the official event Programme issued on the day.

Alongside our open gardens, you can also enjoy:

Relaxing with a refreshing cup of tea or cold drink and delicious homemade cakes at the Village Hall - run by our local infant school parent volunteers.
Buy some new plants for your garden, from our beneficiary, Cherry Trees, who provide respite for children with disabilities.
Traditional british Pimm’s or a non alcoholic fruit punch at the Pimm’s stall - run by our local cricket club volunteers.

And many more exciting surprises will be announced nearer the event...
